Hotel Madhuban has been designed with the guest in mind. All the rooms have been furnished with period furniture, showcasing the skill and expertise of the Rajasthani artisan.

We have tried to create an atmosphere that makes you feel truly at home.

The beautifully appointed rooms at Madhuban are designed around the royal heritage of Rajputana. The rooms are large and airy, and despite the hustle and bustle of the city being less than ten minutes away, the rooms are also very quiet.

All our rooms have clean and well designed bathrooms, with hot and cold running water. The royal suite comes with a whirlpool. And our suites and super-deluxe rooms have bathtubs.

If you just want to stay home, then you can watch TV in your room, take a dip in the pool, or relax in the garden or on the terrace. Or find a member of the family and sit down for a chat about the history of Rajasthan and the family.

Musical Evenings: For the culturally inclined, or just plain curious, the evenings come alive with special shows by Rajasthani artisans who put up folk dances and musical puppet shows that tell tales of valor and might, of love and longing. For the longest time, these travelling bards were the only custodians of Rajasthan’s culture and heritage, carrrying news from one part of the desert to the other.

Stay connected: Use our business centre to stay connected with the world. In keeping with the rest of the hotel, it’s been designed to exude old world charm. But the connectivity is as modern as can get. For the convenience of our guests we have Wi Fi access almost everywhere.

Travel Assistance: Take advantage of our vast experience to plan your trip. We can tell you about the best places to go to and even suggest a couple that haven’t made it on to the primary tourist highway. We can help with all your travel arrangements, either by doing it for you, or pointing you to online and offline resources you can trust. We offer complimentary transportation to/from the bus stand and the railway station if informed in advance. We can also organise a taxi to pick you up from the airport.

Madhuban is heartily recommended if you crave a homely ambience with no hassles whatsoever.The more expensive rooms have fine furnishings and the Royal Suite has a Jacuzzi .There’s also an indoor restaurant, or you can eat out in the pleasant garden. For dessert don’t forget to try the extremely delicious Maalpuas(sweet chapatis) There is also an internet facility here. The owners do not pay commission and by prior arrangement will collect you from the train station or bus stand.

We had a most enjoyable stay at your lovely hotel.  Everything about the hotel surpassed our already elevated expectations.  Our room was nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean.  Your staff’s service is very helpful without being obtrusive.  The restaurant is charming and the food was delicious.  We enjoyed our very refreshing dip in your swimming pool after spending a dusty day in Pushkar.

But most of all, we really appreciated you allowing us to return on our last day, after having checked out, and being able to shower and freshen up before our very long journey back to Vancouver from Jaipur (34 hours total travel time).  And for you to have a car waiting for us to take us to the train station, without us even mentioning needing one – that was just the icing on the cake!

Hotel Madhuban, one of Jaipur’s finest boutique hotels, is located on Bihari Marg in Bani Park, a plush, quiet residential area of Jaipur.

Jaipur is well connected by air, rail and road. Most people fly into Delhi and then either fly directly to Jaipur, or catch a bus or a train.

Hotel Madhuban is five minutes from the bus and railway stations, ten minutes from the Pink City, the bustling heart of Jaipur, and thirty minutes from the Sanganer Airport.

We offer a complementary pickup service from the bus and railway stations if informed in advance. Both cycle-rickshaws and auto-rickshaws are always available at the bus and railway station. They’re the number-one way of getting around town. Remember, taking a rickshaw involves a great deal of good natured bargaining & haggling. And remember to hang on when you’re in one. Go ahead and enjoy yourself!

Hotel Madhuban is the home of Rao Digvijay Singh Patan and his family.

Rao Digvijay is the heir to ancient state of Patan in Rajasthan. He is the head of the Tanwar Rajputs. Patan is the home of the Tanwar Rajputs and lies about 70 miles northeast of Jaipur, along National Highway 8, the road which connects Jaipur and Delhi.

The rulers of Patan belong to the Lunar clan and are descendants of King Parikshit, the grandson of the great Pandava Arjun, one of the heroes of the great Indian epic, Mahabharata.

The state was created by Emperor Anangpal II, who ruled North India from the throne of Delhi some 900 years ago, after he was ousted by Prithviraj Chauhan. He established an independent kingdom comprising of some 380 villages called Tanwarawati spread over 3000 sq kilometres, with it’s capital at Patan.

You can still visit Patan if you like, and do remember to ask Rao Digvijay about the fort at Patan.
